What country spends the most? Who spends the least?
Top 10 spenders in the Canary Islands.
Come on admit it. We all have our theories about other tourist nationalities.
We all think we know who drinks too much beer when on holiday. Who is the loudest? Who is the rudest? Who flashes the cash and which country are a bit slow, opening their wallet or purse. Who should you not be expecting a tip from?
Some countries have longer stays than others. For example, many in the Nordic countries base themselves in the Canary Islands during their harsh winter. For visitors from the Spanish mainland, a visit to the islands can be a weekend away. The fairest way to look at this is to look at the average daily spend per tourist.
