Truck and independent bus drivers on the Canary Islands have asked for permission to hold protests on all 7 Canary Islands next Monday.
They are protesting about the rising cost of fuel and what they feel is the lack of proper support from local and national Governments.
Gran Canaria.
Protesters will travel on the GC1 and GC2 from early morning arriving in the capital Las Palmas around midday.
In Tenerife, protesters will gather in the port in Santa Cruz and move to Government buildings by noon.
Lanzarote protesters will gather at noon at the esplanade of the Island Council.
In Fuerteventura protesters will gather at Risco Prieto.
The smaller islands of La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro will also see protests.
