Update Thursday the 23rd of March.
Almost all Covid restrictions have now been removed in the Canary Islands.
The only restriction remaining of interest for tourists is the need to wear masks on public transport and in medical centres.
Other than those life is back to pre covid normal for now on the islands.
Enjoy your holiday.
Are UK tourists covered for this insurance? Im travelling to the island this weekend.
Thanks
All tourists if you meet the terms and conditions.
Today: 30.12.21… I will be traveling to Fuertaventua on 23.01.2022 and staying in an accredited accommodation for three weeks (lucky me: sun, fishing, hiking, etc.) I just read about this insurance and was wondering how it works? Do I need to fill out a form of some sort? How do I know I’m covered? Thanks in advance. Nice web site. =Timothy=
Hi Timothy as far as I know you just need to be able to prove you are staying in accredited accommodation if you need to avail of it.
